1. Dry Brushing

With its origins in Ayurvedic medicine, dry brushing has been an ancient method of healing for the past 3,000 years. It is a great way to stimulate blood flow, reduce cellulite, and exfoliate the skin. The easiest way we at Oh Daisey like to implement this wellness technique into our day is straight after the shower. When you dry brush, always brush towards your heart, so if you are brushing your legs, stroke upwards. After, you can apply some nourishing oils to regain hydration.

2. Powder Supplements

Not a fan of pill supplements? Try powder supplements which are super easy to store in your purse and blend into a cup of water or include in a morning smoothie. Search for Magnesium, Vitamin C, Collagen, and L-Theanine powder supplements to conveniently consume whether you’re on your way to work or going to sleep. Remember, all powders are not equal. Make sure you are looking for Brands that 3rd-Party test for toxicities and heavy metals.

3. Body Oils

Body oils help your skin barrier regain hydration and absorb critical minerals and vitamins that promote the body’s inner systems. Our favorite body oil is Magnesium, which can either be applied as a spray or rubbed onto the skin. Magnesium is a mineral that helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system (reduce anxiety) and act as a muscle relaxant. We like to spray this oil on the bottoms of our feet every night before bed for quick absorption.

4. Gua Sha

Want to decrease facial puffiness, sculpt your features, and drain your lymphatic system? The Gua Sha beauty tool has existed since Ancient China and continues to be a skincare staple for people across the globe. We like to use the Gua Sha in the morning to reduce puffiness and at night to stimulate blood flow in the skin. To Gua Sha, take the tool (usually made from stone) and make upward movements along the features of your face like along your cheekbones and on your forehead.

5. Body Roller

Need a quick stretch? Get a body roller! Whether you just completed a badass workout or have been sitting at your desk all day, body rolling is an excellent way to revive your movements and gain movement in your body. There are a variety of different positions and moves you can do with this tool, giving your back, glutes, shins, and booty a convenient, little stretch.

What is Natasha Favorite Wellness Tip?

Dry Brushing is such an underrated form of wellness. I would probably choose this habit over the others because I love how my skin and body feels after I dry brush.
