    What is Maca?

Maca is a herbaceous plant of the broccoli family, native to the mountains of Peru, and it is commonly used there as a root vegetable.

    Benefits of Maca Powder:

Maca is a good source of some minerals such as iron.

Maca may help to improve libido and sexual function.

Maca may ease anxiety and depression.

Maca may help beat fatigue, lack of stamina, and act as a general body tonic.

Maca also has been traditionally used to treat high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, stress, and boost the immune system.

Did you know? Maca is sometimes known as “preuvian ginseng” and in Peru the fresh plant is often eaten baked or roasted, made into soups, or used in the fremented drink maca chicha. Maca is a relative of radish and turnip, and some people think it has a sweet odar similar to butterscotch.
